BRANDING
WORSHIP: A SLEEP TOKEN FANZINEART DIRECTION, BRANDING, ZINE DESIGNAS SEEN IN METAL HAMMER MAGAZINE
"Worship: A Tribute to Sleep Token” is a fan-curated nonprofit zine in honor of the anonymous metal fusion band known as Sleep Token. The inaugural zine includes 60 pages of art, prose and personal essays contributed from dedicated members of the band's online fanbase. As the art director, I was responsible for curating the art and written pieces within the zine, as well as working with our cover artist to develop the concept according to our brand identity. As the lead designer, I developed all aspects of the brand identity, produced both web and print-ready versions of the zine, designed all of the social media materials, and crafted the itch.io storefront where the zine can be accessed.
BUYTHEU
BRANDING, LOGO,
WEB & APP CONCEPTS
BuyTheU is a marketplace for college students. It is a place to buy and sell products, services, and all things on and around campus. Students may list items and purchase directly from their peers, or they can purchase from storefronts owned or sponsored by the University.I developed the logo and full brand identity for this project. From there, I created static concepts for the website and app.
TOVENTURE "B GOOD"
BRAND ASSETS, LOGO
Every year, the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania teams up with ToVenture to host the "B Good" Pitch Competition. Entrants give a lightning pitch for a B-Corp business or product idea; winners receive grants and investment opportunities from ToVenture and the Dafan & Sue Foundation.
As well as developing the logo and brand identity for the event, I incorporated them into a variety of print and digital assets - used both for promotion and during the event itself.
THE MERCHANTS FUNDBrand identity,
promo sampler, website concept
The Merchants Fund, or TMF, is an organization providing small businesses across Philadelphia with grants and loans when they need it most.
After the release of their 2022 Funding Report, the organization expressed interest in updating their brand identity and website to visually match the report. I developed a small brand identity guide that breaks down the elements of the report, using them to establish the new identity going forward. I then applied the new branding to a static website concept, as well as a sample of the branding used in print and digital collateral.
OPB MediaLogo revamp, brand identity guide
OPB, which stands for "Other People's Business", is a multipurpose agency covering marketing, realty, investments and co-working spaces. The original logo had each dot taking on one of the brand's three colors; I redesigned it to represent how interlinked all aspects of the agency are in their operations. After the logo was reworked, I created a new brand identity handbook that encompasses how to use the logo in print and on the web.
Training PartnerLogo, branding, app concept, ad mockups
Training Partner is an app in grassroots development by a collective of fighting games players. Learning fighting games on a competitive level can be difficult, but maintaining the motivation to keep practicing can be even harder. The app seeks to visualize goals, progress, and practice time by creating simple infographics from relevant user input, similar to Spotify's Wrapped.I developed the logo, which is the combination of an eye and a ball-top arcade stick. From there, I fleshed out the rest of the brand identity and created some ad mockups to show to potential investors or developer hires. This also required me to craft some very basic app design examples.
JOY SodaLogo and can design, branding materials
JOY is a craft beverage brand launching a niche line of "better-for-you" drinks in 2024. Healthier choices don't have to mean compromising taste or experience; JOY strives to offer consumers the middle ground between diet and regular sodas. The logo was digitized from a concept sketch provided by the owners of the company. The brand elements seek to strike a balance of vibrant colors and simple, modern design. I will be working with the brand to produce the die lines for the cans and packaging once they are cleared for sales and production.
Local Cleaning Services NYCLogo revamp, brand elements, merch mockups
Local Cleaning Services NYC is a contracting organization that operates across New York City's five boroughs. They help connect landlords, businesses, renters, and other clients to maids and cleaning companies that offer services custom-tailored to their needs. Their logo, color palette and typeface have been modernized and simplified.

Software used: Premiere ProEvery year, the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania teams up with ToVenture to host the "B Good" Pitch Competition. Entrants give a lightning pitch for a B-Corp business or product idea; winners receive grants and investment opportunities from ToVenture and the Dafan & Sue Foundation.
I created three highlight reels, which condense each 10 to 20 minute presentation into under 90 seconds, as well as a general recap video that includes an interview with the event founder.

Producer, editor, co-videographer
Software used: Premiere ProThis short documentary spotlights Carroll University’s Artist in Residence for the 2017-2018 academic school year, a sculptor from the Netherlands named Saskia de Rooy. Her project “The Unabiding Portrait” involved five key members of the Carroll community being sculpted in real time, each face being morphed into the next from the same piece of clay. It was part of a larger multi-disciplinary project at Carroll, “(in)sight”, which took place across Spring 2018 and engaged students, artists, writers, and more.

VTUBER
(VIRTUAL YOUTUBER)SOCIAL MEDIA PROMO
Software used: Premiere Pro, AfterEffectsVtubers are Internet personalities that use a 2D or 3D animated avatar instead of their real faces when streaming. Originally popularized in Japan, vtubing culture has become a global phenomenon.A client of mine who has yet to debut as a Vtuber commissioned me to produce social media promos/teasers to build hype around their debut. Their character is a robot, so the aesthetic is meant to emulate a sci-fi command panel that has the power to bring them online.

About
Born and raised in Wisconsin, I left the land of cheese for the home of the cheesesteak in 2019. Since then, I have helped clients and businesses spanning many industries, providing them with the assets they need to define and amplify their brand. When I'm not designing for business, I love keeping my hands full with a wide array of creative passion projects, from illustration to music production (and just about everything in-between!)
